Found a little cafe up the road that made some good black coffee this morning.  I was down to no coffees per day. Besides the heat it was quite relaxing riding on my Coleman road bike.  A trusty 6 gear speedster.  Luckily it is flat here and no hills.  Crossing the main highway ( now to get to my coffee oasis) is still hazardous. They drive on the right side of the road which I occassionaly forget.  My approach is to find a local, preferrably an aging female who i cross with. Its worked so far.[...]

Its the hottest its been here today.  The electricity went off for about two hours in the heat of the day.  The internet has been off all day and only came back on at 6pm. Its been interesting talking with the staff today they are doing a lot of work bringing young woman ( and one young boy) back from Malaysia.  They get enticed over there by aggressive employment agents who come to their village in the area.  Most have been treated very badly. Am getting into the planning process – all thos years of business planning process are paying off. A couple of the young guys who live at the shelter here wanted me to teach them how to build web sites.  I think they had a real expectation hat it could be done quite easily.  Anyway I think I have worked out a basic how does the internet work and how websites are developed approach maybe by throwing in some of the free website applications on the net I will keep their interest. This will be my “other” job will I am working taking them for an hour  every second evening. SSF is doing some great work but still needs to tap into some more regular funding. A good project for Radford I am sure.              [...]

I have come back to Phnom Penh for the weekend. Tried the wait by the side of the road and wait til the bus comes ( but its actually a van). It was more of a case of it finds you. The driver and the offsider have their eyes peeled for potential passengers. No air conditioning and I get the impression they will put in as many as they can find. For the first few ks they were going slow until they can get a full load then it was quite speedy. Went to central market and visited these girls again Tam and Addy. They sent thier love to you both and chastised me for not bringing you. They have opened up another stall now have three and the aunty has two – quite the business women.[...]

I arrived at Kampong Speu after a bus trip. The instructions were given to many including the bus driver ( 3 times ) to let me off at the Golden House Hotel.
