Yeserday I spent the afternoon at the Canbodian Police Headquarters at Phnom Penh. I accompanied the case worker and the a woman whose daughter had gone to Malayasia with an employment agency and had approached the Embasey there that she was being mistreated.
It was very interesting and was a hearing with a police general (from Human Trafficking Division) and representatives from the company, a another NGO and the daughter on a phone hook up. The police were very helpful and compassionate and worked through a solution.
